What we cover
We report on six core areas: markets, investment, development, finance, policy and prime property. Within those, our focus is narrow by design. We cover the decisions that move capital — a financing that reprices a sector, a planning ruling that changes what is buildable, a transaction that resets a comparable.
We do not cover home décor, celebrity property or listings. There are good publications for that; this is not one of them.
Who reads us
Our audience is institutional and professional: fund managers, developers, lenders, brokers, planners, asset managers and the advisers who serve them. That shapes everything about how we write — we assume the reader knows what a cap rate is, and we spend the words we save on evidence instead.
How we are funded
Estate News is funded by advertising, sponsorship and subscriptions to Estate News Pro. Advertising and sponsored content are always labelled as such and are never sold on the basis of editorial coverage. Our newsroom has no visibility into, and no involvement in, commercial negotiations.
